Nestled at No.16, Lorong 3, Taman, Jln Samarax, this charming cafe has quickly become a favored spot for both locals and visitors, thanks to its diverse menu that showcases the best of Malaysian cuisine.

Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, Lawas Taste Cafe provides the perfect backdrop for your culinary adventure.

Now, let’s talk about the food. The star of the show is undeniably the Golden Pork Rice, praised by patrons as "the bomb." Imagine tender, crispy pork paired with perfectly cooked rice, every mouthful offering a satisfying crunch that perfectly complements the savory flavors. Hilda Jelembai couldn't have said it better when she raved about the "perfect combo" of spiciness and pork.

If you're in the mood for something heartier, don't miss the Cantonese fried kueh teow, which has garnered rave reviews for its robust flavor. Regular patrons like Karen Lim have fallen in love with the "best I've ever tasted" Kueh Teow, making it a must-try dish. The fried salted crispy bitter gourd and the ginger onion pork are also standout options that enhance the culinary experience at Lawas Taste Cafe.

Genevieve's review perfectly sums up the essence of this cafe; it's truly a family-run establishment where hard work translates into extraordinary food. The commitment to quality and authenticity shines through every dish, setting Lawas Taste Cafe apart from typical dining experiences.

Although the cafe may experience a slower service during peak hours, the food's incredible taste makes the wait worthwhile. As Rj SCR points out, "it's okay to wait because the food is worth it." The Spicy Pork Chop comes highly recommended and offers a flavor profile that leaves you craving more.

For those adventurous eaters, try the Mee Goreng Basah in its unique Lawas style, a dish that Emma Emu insists you simply must experience for yourself. The rich and spicy flavors will surely take your taste buds on a vibrant journey.

Their Golden Pork Rice is the bombb. I love how the crunchy pork taste and their Cabik is the best! The spiciness with the pork is a perfect combo.

I've never been to the cafe but I always order from this place when I'm at the Heart Centre. I'm really surprised at how good the food is. The Cantonese fried kueh teow is the best I've ever tasted. I love the fried salted crispy bitter gourd & the ginger onion pork. Really one of the best place to eat.

Most of its food are delicious. The service is slow so don't go there if very hungry. However, it's okay to wait because the food is worth it. The price is quite pricy though. Spicy Pork Chop is highly recommended
